Lift maintenance contracts, written to suit your needs.
Many lift contractors tend to offer maintenance contracts that suit their own criteria and have a bias towards their own business plans. However, with ILECS, we’ll formulate and instigate a lift maintenance contract that adopts a stringent maintenance programme for your lifting equipment and is also tailored to suit your business needs.

We manage your lifts, so you don’t have to.
Many of our clients choose to outsource their lift management responsibilities to ILECS, and in doing so, we not only save them time and money but also make their operations more efficient.

What we commonly get asked…
As independent lift and escalator consultants, we regularly get asked the following questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, feel free to get in touch to ask a member of our team.
What is the difference between a lift consultant and a lift contractor?
A lift consultant is not to be confused with a lift contractor, with each serving different roles in the industry.
A lift contractor will undertake lift installation and modernisation/refurbishment works, provide lift maintenance and call-out services, and perform repairs. While they can offer advice and recommendations on issues relating to your lift, their revenue generation is through the sale of products and maintenance. There is a risk, therefore, that any advice provided might, either intentionally or unwittingly, be affected by bias or a lack of knowledge of certain areas.
In contrast, a lift consultant provides independent technical expertise. They do not install or maintain lifts, nor should they be affiliated with any lift company. Therefore, they can always act on behalf of the client. Their experience and broad technical knowledge allow them to provide advice on all aspects of the industry that is both independent and without bias or prejudice. It is the responsibility of the consultant to give clients peace of mind when it comes to making the right decisions.
Why should I use a lift consultant?
A professional lift consultant will collaborate with you to identify the best solution tailored to your needs, ensuring your success. As a lift consultant operates independently from lift contractors, you can expect their advice to be expert, honest and impartial.
It is a good idea to involve a lift consultant if:
- You need advice on a problem or challenge you’re experiencing
- You are planning a lift project and want the job done properly, whether it be a new installation, modernisation, replacement, or refurbishment
- You’re looking to enhance the people flow in your building
- You want to reduce unnecessary expenditure and optimise costs
- You’re untrusting of your lift contractor
What is a lift consultant?
A lift consultant is a subject matter expert (SME) in the field of lifts and escalators, possessing advanced knowledge and experience in the industry.
They play a crucial role in guiding customers through the complex landscape of the lift and escalator industry, giving peace of mind by safeguarding against misinformation and offering unbiased advice. Whether providing reports, overseeing projects, or optimising maintenance, their insights are invaluable in elevating the standards of vertical transportation.
