In the latest exciting development in the ILECS team, we are pleased to share that we have been joined by a new lift consultant. Greg Peck has been in the lift and escalator industry for over 35 years. In that time, he has been involved at all levels, from engineering roles to management, and he has worked for both small independent lift companies as well as large global organisations. In these previous roles, he has been responsible for engineers, key customers, and sites with specific challenges.
We pride ourselves on both the professionalism and technical expertise of our consultants, which makes Greg a valuable addition to our team as an ILECS lift consultant. He has an NVQ5 in Operational Management and a foundation degree in lifts, which he would like to continue to pursue in the future and work towards a Master’s degree in the same subject.
Greg's extensive experience in the lift industry was most recently in his role as an Area Service Manager (ASM) with Kone Lifts. The role was a very challenging one, as ASMs are accountable for not only the service team and service delivery, but also ensuring customer expectations are maintained and that sales are kept in line with company expectations.
We spoke to Greg to find out what he is looking forward to most in his new role. He said, "I’m looking forward to working with the ILECS team which is a truly independent company, who operate without the constraints and restrictions of the more corporate organisations." He added that there is nothing more rewarding than offering good advice and working with people who care at every level.
