We are delighted to be supporting Mistley Cricket Club as we renew our sponsorship for the next three years.

ILECS is proud to be involved in supporting our community, and having recently celebrated our 30th anniversary, we are delighted to continue our track record of connecting with local organisations in our area for mutual benefit. Mistley Cricket Club has been established for 200 years, and currently fields seven teams of men’s, ladies’ and junior players. We have supported the club for several years, and provided a brand new kit for the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship in 2018.

Like ILECS, Mistley Cricket Club is driven by core values such as Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. They are a not-for-profit volunteer led sports club that invests all of their income into the provision of cricket for their members and the wider community. This includes players of all ages and abilities, and the club is a fantastic asset for the local area.

Myles Churchill, Treasurer at Mistley Cricket Club, said:

“We are very grateful that ILECS, as a locally based business, has agreed to be our main sponsor for a further 3 seasons.

As a volunteer led organisation their continued financial support allows us to plan with confidence providing high quality cricket to the local community via our men’s, women’s and junior teams.”

The club has enjoyed success in the 2021 season, with the 1st Team in Division One (Two Counties Cricket League), led by Kemsley Robb, cementing their place in the top half of the league which has in turn enabled the 2nd Team to strengthen their ability to remain in a competitive Division 3. The Women’s and Junior sections of the club continue to go from strength to strength. During the 2022 season, Mistley Cricket Club are looking to strengthen the 1st Team again over the winter months with a view to winning the Division 1 title, which will offer them the exciting prospect of entering the East Anglia Premier Cricket League, the highest level of cricket that the club can attain.

We look forward to seeing the Swans’ progress in the next season!

Keep up to date with their news, fixtures and results here, and look out for our new boundary board at the cricket club when the season kicks off again.
