Our Onevision lift management service has been shortlisted for an Award!

ILECS are thrilled to announce that our OneVision lift management service has been shortlisted for an award. It's in the top 3 of the ‘Innovation in Design & Technology Award’ at the 2018 Tendring Blue Ribbon Awards. This award is for a company or individual that has demonstrated a product or service innovation leading to commercial success.

How OneVision came to be

Back in the early days of ILECS, we provided an ‘add on’ service for our clients. This involved the ILECS team reviewing lift inspection reports, and advising on lift-related queries by telephone and on paper. All the documentation was kept in filing cabinets in the corner of the ILECS office.

As the service grew, managing client portfolios became very labour intensive. Not only did we need to improve our working methods, but we were also providing a greater depth of information to our clients.

Therefore, as a business, we invested in developing OneVision, a bespoke lift portfolio management software system.

After two years of working with ANC Software, a local software developer, we launched the new system in November 2017. Since the launch, we have acquired 164 new OneVision accounts, bringing in an additional revenue of £75,000 in just seven months. OneVision now contributes to one-third of the company’s turnover.

What is Tendring Blue Ribbon?

Tendring Blue Ribbon highlights and celebrates the success of businesses and individuals in the Tendring area. Jamesons, Barclays and Tendring District Council are presenting this year's event, which is the third Tendring Blue Ribbon celebration.

When and where is it taking place?

The event will be held on Thursday 4th October 2018 at The Princes Theatre, Clacton Town Hall.
