ILECS sponsor Platinum Jubilee event

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Queen's accession, Mistley, Manningtree & Lawford are holding a Right Royal Party in the Park for the Platinum Jubilee. As a proud Mistley-based business, ILECS are delighted to be Gold sponsors for the event, joining other local organisations in supporting the area and celebrating this unprecedented historical milestone.

The Right Royal Party in the Park at the Welcome Home Field in Mistley will take place on Friday 3rd June from 3pm until 10pm, and promises to be fun for all ages, from live music to food stalls and bars, including children's entertainment and a fireworks display. Entry is free, and picnics are encouraged. In addition to sponsorship from local businesses, the event has been made possible by the Let’s Create Jubilee Fund, which supports a huge range of projects throughout England, making sure communities get the chance to take part in events to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. To be as environmentally conscious as possible, car journeys will be discouraged, as the organisers are providing a Jubilee Express bus route for the day. Look out for ILECS on the logo board at the entrance to the Welcome Home Field, and we will also feature in the commemorative programme after the event.

Why are we supporting this event?

Whether it's sponsoring events, clubs, or employing people locally, we take pride in supporting our local community. In the past, we've sponsored the Manningtree Regatta fireworks and rewards, Mistley men's rugby team, and Ramsey and Mistley ladies' football team. We currently sponsor Mistley Cricket Club and are in discussions with Acorn Village to see how we can help support their sensory room project.
