Nic & Leona Celebrate 10 Years of Service

At ILECS, we take pride in the dedication and commitment of our team, and we’re delighted to celebrate two incredible long-service milestones. This year, our Operations Support Manager, Nic Scott and Senior OneVision Account Manager, Leona Tuckwell, celebrate 10 years of service at ILECS.

Their hard work, expertise and passion have played a key role in shaping ILECS, and we want to take a moment to recognise their contributions and thank them for their years of service.

Celebrating Nic Scott’s 10 Years of Dedication at ILECS

Nic Scott first joined ILECS in a temporary position on the 12th of January 2015, taking on the role of Operations Support Co-ordinator to cover maternity leave. After excelling in this role and impressing management, ILECS offered Nic a permanent position.

Nic now serves as our Operations Support Manager, overseeing the Operations Support team and ensuring that the proper processes are followed to support the wider team. The role has expanded over time, with Nic transforming the quality control process and therefore improving ILECS’ operational efficiency.

Nic focuses on ensuring all ILECS reports issued to clients are of the same high standard by using her strong attention to detail, grammar and formatting skills. Her expertise allows our team of lift consultants more time to focus on the technical aspects of lifts in their reports.

During her time at the company, Nic has played a pivotal role in creating and maintaining the ILECS’ range of standard document templates. All documents are maintained in a document register, each assigned a unique reference number, making it easy to manage, update and log changes. This a vital responsibility to ensure that the entire team uses the correct documents.

On her 10-year anniversary, Nic said, “When I first joined ILECS 10 years ago, having previously worked for much larger companies, I loved the smaller, family feel of ILECS. I’ve seen the company grow over those years, but the staff are still cared about and made to feel valued, and it’s a great place to work. I’m passionate about my role at ILECS and being part of the continued growth”.

Leona Tuckwell’s Incredible 10-Year Journey with ILECS

Leona joined ILECS on the 2nd of March 2015. When she started at ILECS, she worked in our OneVision lift management team as a Compliance Co-ordinator. In this role, Leona was responsible for processing LOLER records and following up on defects to ensure compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.

With a passion for delivering excellent customer service, Leona then advanced to become a OneVision Account Manager, taking on the responsibility of managing her own clients with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and contractors.

Now a Senior OneVision Account Manager, Leona has established herself as a subject matter expert in lift management for NHS clients, care homes, and sheltered housing. She also oversees OneVision system upgrades and services as the first aider, mental health first aider, and fire marshal.

Leona shared her thoughts about her time at ILECS, “Since the day I joined 10 years ago, ILECS has been fully supportive of me and has allowed me to undertake relevant courses for my various roles and keeping my skills up to date.

I remember when we were first building the OneVision system, and being given the opportunity to contribute our ideas and preferences. I take pride in playing a key role in its development and witness its growth over time. Because of this work, ILECS was able to continue delivering our OneVision lift management service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic when lockdown occurred”.
