What are CDM requirements for lift installation, and how are they managed during the project?

The Client must ensure suitable arrangements and appointments are in place. Where more than one contractor is involved, a Principal Designer and Principal Contractor are required. CDM is managed through coordinated design risk control, provision of pre-construction information, and preparation of a health and safety file for handover.
